Angela began her career as a social worker for non-profit organizations in 1991 after obtaining her Master's Degree in Social Work at UW-Milwaukee. She worked with children ages Birth to Five and their families, including two years at Head Start. She was hired as a School Social Worker by the School District of Janesville in 1998. In 2011, she received her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. She additionally completed coursework to obtain licensure for Director of Pupil Services & Special Education in 2013. She began serving as P4J Coordinator in September of 2013.
The School District of Janesville will be partnering with 15 different community early learning and care locations within Janesville. Preschool 4 Janesville is funded through the Department of Public Instruction and the School District of Janesville.
The Janesville Child Development Days is the collaborative effort of the Birth to 3 Therapeutic Learning Center, Rock/Walworth Head Start, the School District of Janesville’s Preschool 4 Janesville, Speech and Language and Early Childhood Special Education programs and the Exchange Family Resource Center.
Each family will enroll their child as a student in the School District of Janesville at this time. After placement is confirmed by a letter sent to your home mid-spring, you will also need to register at the P4J site your child will attend.
